Immmmm Fusionnnnn

On 14th of August we flew to Thailand to meet Chris in Bangkok. We had many hours transit in Beijing Airport, but they went fairly fast when Alesia and Keira became the most photographed feature of the airport. Several Chinese families now have photos of themselves posing with the two white girls in the airport. We went to the Bangkok airport on 15th August to meet Chris. Alesia running towards him at the arrivals area would have been worth a vidoe! Keira was happy to see him, but is still a bit of a mummies girl. In Bangkok we stayed at Imm Fusion - a little hotel along the sky train line. The hotel is decorated in an eclectic mix of Thai and Middle Eastern style.

This is the gorgous little pool, where Keira remembered what it was like to be in a pool and Alesia showed that she could stick her head under water and swim (holding her nose).

This is the "Chill Room", which is kitted out in big bean bags. Alesia loved the pink walls and colour glass mosaics. Chris and I spent some nice time down here after the girls went to sleep in the room.

There are several little lounges like this one to hang out in, with fabric hanging from the ceiling, lovely cushions, free wi-fi access and LCD tv and ceiling fans.

No, this is not our bedroom. This is one of the daybeds at poolside. The hotel runs a massage service and you can chose to get a massage on one of the daybeds, or just lay back and read. Natalie and I got a one hour foot massage that also included our arms, head, shoulders and neck. It is one of the best massages I have had.

The rooms themselves were nice. Simple and not overdone. A bit small for the four of us, but I was too cheap to pay for joining rooms! Check out the website for next time you are in Bangkok: Imm Fusion
