I just realised that I have forgotten to do posts of the rest of our time in Thailand. Whenever we go to Chiang Mai we end up doing the drive up to Doi Sutep - a Wat about 40 minutes drive out of the city and up on the side of a mountain. This time the central golden pagodo thingy was covered in scaffolding, but we still had an enjoyable wander. Note the credit card facilities in the photo below - so you can put your merits on your plastic. Very convenient.

This guy was posing for tourist shots, but I caught him having a grin at Keira trying to crawl through Chris' legs.

All these bells have names on them. Among the Thai names we found some others like "Steve" and "Bob".

Three of us were carrying cameras and we all stopped to take photos of these flames. It would be interesting to compare the different shots! I like the water drops at the base, which to be honest I didn't even notice when I took the photo.
This photo was taken by Darin Roberts (see blog link on the right). It is a good illustration of how I get around - camera on the front, bag over right shoulder and Keira strapped on the back.
