Light fantastic adventures

One hot night in Melbourne Chris and I played with "light painting" - we used timed exposure on the camera to paint a dark scene with light from a small LED torch. Chris was happy to be a model while I worked out the camera settings and how to stablise the camera without a tripod.

The results were great fun, and we learned a lot. My Mum even got into the action when she came out after an hour or so to find out what we were doing in the dark.

We used our practice last night, when when we captured Keira peacefully sleeping.

We have a lot to learn though - just look at some of these great examples
