While we were in Melbourne we had a birthday party for Alesia so that all the Melbourne relatives (which is most of our relatives) could get the party experience. Alesia loved it, especially making her own birthday cake. A consequence of having a Melbourne birthday has meant that her birthday has stretched over a month now, especially as Chris missed the actual event in April as he was in the Solomon Islands, so her big birthday present (a bike) only arrivd last weekend!Turning three has been very significant for Alesia and she holds up three fingers proudly whenever someone asks her how old she is. She is also making significant declarations about what she thinks she can do by herself now that she is so grown up.
