We had some visitors from ADRA UK who had not been to Mongolia before. After a week of meetings in the office we wanted to show them a little of life outside Ulaanbaatar. So we went out to our favourite ger camp in Terelj for the weekend, and took two other families as company! The ger camp was happy to give our group four gers. The sun was shining, there was no wind and we had a wonderful time. Since then the weather has warmed up a little, so it might be the last time for a while we have knee deep snow to play in.
Keira and Masake playing snow soccer.
Chris having a chat with the two guys from ADRA UK (Now listen fellas, if you don't give us the full amount of funding I'm gonna put you on this sled and send you down the hill)
Posing for a group photo at the top of the ridge. It wasn't far, but a big climb in knee deep powder snow.
Alesia going super fast on her own.
We all ate together in one ger - 9 adults and 8 children. At night we played Uno, toys and read old Guardian Weekly newspapers. It was a great weekend.
