On weekends we like to drive over to Manly and wander by the sea or the bay (wherever it is not windy!). Hanging out in Manly feels like a different Sydney to the one we live in during the week. Pity property prices are astronomical here.
Above is the start of the walk around to Shelly Beach. It is always crowded on the weekend and we usually hit a few people with the wheels of our pram (it is pretty wide). On this trip we discovered that one of the pram wheels was really flat, which made it hard to steer when the path had an angle, and Aleisa was camped out in her seat in the front.
Here is Alesia in her seat, eating a snack. She is hungy most of the time these days, except at meal times. She has discovered asking for food when she is supposed to be going to sleep and even though she only gets a sultana or two she still asks!
During our last visit we discovered North Head. Very strange to see the boring Army housing after driving past all the posh places. We will come back here for a picnic when the weather gets warmer.
