Lachlan Abel's Christening

On the weekend of 9th March we drove down to Melbourne to attend the Christening of my nephew, Lachlan Abel. Lachlan was born about four weeks earlier than Keira. He is the son of my brother Richard and his wife Suzanne. Pictured above at the church is me, Keira, Richard, Lachlan and my mum Irene.

The Christening went really well. The priest who conducted Richard and Suzanne's wedding did the service. Suzanne's sister and Richard's little brother were the god-parents. They are pictured above, during the actual baptism.

And just in case you were wondering where Alesia was, well she made sure she was as close to the action as she could get...

We had a great time, though I picked up a cold and it has taken me almost a month to get over it! (Hence the lack of blogs recently).
