Work-Life balance
It can be busy in our house. Keira is working on learning how to hold her head up. She thinks tummy time is for having a rest on her tummy (which must be novel when she is on her back most of the time). So the over the shoulder position is about the only neck exercise she does. But she is doing ok, and I love the inquisitive look she has.
Alesia has decided that walls are not enough for stickers and that her body is the best canvas. Some stickers stick on better than others though and take a lot of soaking in the bath. We called this work "Alphabetpox".
Someone is always hungry in our house. We tried making vegetables more interesting by having Alesia cook them herself in her mini pots. She loved the cooking, but it was still hard work getting her to eat them, despite covering them in cheese.
It is never hard to get her to eat this stuff though!
THe picture above was taken when I was ready to go down to the car and go to the office for the first time since Keira was born. It basically sums up my life at the moment - all that is missing is the baby. I have a cupboard at work with nappies, blankets, toys, play dough, etc. I don't have a key yet for my office so I am sure that the health fund staff who work around me must sneak in to have a play when I am not there (which is most of the time).
Bath time is become a fun time, with Keira thinking Alesia is the most entertaining thing to watch. But after a bit the splashing and squeals gets to her and we have to remove Alesia to let Keira relax again.
