This is my brother Richard with his baby son Lachlan, and Chris with Keira. Lachlan was born about four weeks before Keira. Lachlan has big lungs, but Keira wins in the hair competition.
Alesia took this photo of Chris and me on Christmas day out at Warburton. She is getting quite handy with the digital camera and now usually prefers being behind the camera instead of in front of it!
This photo is to record that not everything was all smiles on Christmas day! Alesia enjoyed Christmas, though she did not sleep that well each night. We are not sure if she is going through a "night horror" stage or just being affected by having Keira around. Probably both.
On our drive back home we met up with my father at Gundagai. This is Alesia and Rod in the cabin of his truck. We all got scared when he blew the big horn. It was a hot day and Alesia was being a hippy child in tracksuit pants, thongs, topless and sunglasses in her hair. We had car trouble on the way home, with the car refusing to idle when we reached Holebrook. This was ok when travelling at full speed on the Hume Highway, but not ok when having to use the gears and breaks while going through Sydney. Chris had to do most of the driving as he has experience in driving heel/toe in bad cars from his time at Youngs Pool Shop. I found it hard to stop the car using the hand brake while keeping the accellerator going. We made it home in one day though and got the car fixed in the new year.
It was great to see family, and a few friends.
