Christmas Day - Abel Farm

Christmas Day was spent with the Abel extended family at Peter and Yvonne Abel's farm near Warragul. It was a sit down event that was kept from being too formal by the inability of my family to be very formal! We had all four great grand parents present, which was lovely. Above is my brother Richard keeping George Abel company. He is not doing so well, so this may be his last Christmas.

Above is Alesia keeping Nana Abel and Elwyne Mead company. Elwyne is Keira's second name, in honour of this great-grandmother. Both of them are good talkers and had lots of lovely long chats during the day.

We had two tables to fit everyone in. Somehow all the great-grandparents ended up sitting together. Chris, Alesia and Keira sat with them, so we had the eldest and the youngest at the same table.

Above is my family. Standing from left: Chris, Edward, Natalie, Richard, Emily, Rodney. Sitting from left: Michelle with Keira, Irene with Alesia and Suzanne with Lachlan.

I am part of two big families, but Alesia and Keira only have one cousin at the moment. Above is Lachlan with Keira - both of them clearly very interested in being photographed!

So there ends Christmas 2007.
