This is the view of the kitchen of the transit flat. Off to the right are concertina doors that closed off the sleeping area. This was great, as it meant we could put the girls to bed, close the doors and stay up ourselves. The problem was that we had to sleep on the sofa bed. After a few bad nights I had the bright idea of taking the inner spring mattress off the double bed Keira was on, putting it on the floor and putting the sofa bed mattress on Keira's bed. That was a great idea and we slept so much better. We also had only one fan, so that was in with the girls. It was too cold for the Air Con, but a fan would have been nice, but we wanted to do anything to keep the girls sleeping peacefully. There was only a shower in the bathroom, so Keira had her bath in the sink. Once she started to get better she didn't mind sitting among the pots.
By Tuesday evening both girls were looking much happier. Keria's personality started to return, and she had some fun bouncing on the floor with her toys. Alesia was even slightly interested in dinner, even though she could only manage to eat her noodles one at a time...
