I can't believe how green everything is in the Yarra Valley. I guess winter was wet and we have had good rain so far this summer. It is so nice to see green grass and lovely trees, especially as it was -20 when we left Mongolia. After meeting Santa we went to show Bek my Grandfather's garden. His vegies are doing well, with some early tomatoes in the greenhouse. Their fruit trees are loaded, so we picked our own lemons, oranges and grapefruit. The girls picked and ate all the low hanging plums that were ripe. I am envious that my grandparents can have all this in their back yard.
