We decided to combine a small house warming with a birthday party for me. We did this the day after we arrived back from the countryside, so we ordered in Indian to complement our own cooking. In our new building we have a common room on the ground floor that is decked out like a German pub. We pulled all the tables together and had a great feast. Alesia was disappointed that we had no birthday cake, but she had fun playing with her friends anyway.
