To end our time in Sydney (back on 18 December!) we were able to spend a few days relaxing in a friend's house at Wangi Wangi (Central Coast NSW). Thanks Rob and Marion! We quickly learned that the location is not pronounced Wangee, but Wongee. Otherwise I think we fitted in ok. Alesia even made a friend of the boy who lived next door. When we left he gave her a handmade Christmas card.
The weather was wonderful and we did lots of walking. We also put the girl's through a dog-familiarisation program using Uncle Matt and Aunty Tan's enthusiastic golden retriever. Alesia and Keira are scared of dogs after learning in Mongolia that a dog wandering the streets must be avoided.
The girls eventually enjoyed going out in the boat. Mongolia is land-locked, and the girls have not visited any big lakes there yet, so boats are an unfamiliar thing for them!
